As every string teacher knows, learning proper bowing technique is among the most difficult challenges for the beginning student: the natural arc — formed by moving the right arm back and forth — must be counteracted by the wrist in order to arrive at a straight bow stroke, which is critical to tone production. Safe, soft, and sturdy, the Bow Force mounts on the center bouts in seconds, and folds flat for storage. Designed by Becky Fields, a dedicated string teacher with over 40 years of teaching experience, the Bow Force comes straight from Becky’s studio: custom made for her students, and refined over time.
